"Integrity Rooted in our Anishinaabe Ways"

Through hands-on experience working “in the trenches” of several of our tribal entities—managing finances, supporting employees, and navigating complex challenges—I learned what works and what doesn’t. I want to help serve all of our people by working collaboratively with the Tribal Council, Local Indian Councils, tribal businesses and programs, and other tribal, state, and federal governments.

Commitment to Our People

I am a listener. All my life I have looked to my elders for wisdom, guidance, and the historical knowledge on issues affecting all of us and I will continue to do so. I will seek ideas and input from our youth and adults of our beautiful nation as well. I make decisions by educating myself on facts of matters and follow policies and procedures for the good of all affected. I live a life of sobriety, I live for my family first and foremost, yet I am extremely dedicated to hard work that needs to be accomplished. I feel I have a good track record to do good for our people with my strong work ethics and upholding our Anishinaabe values in everything I do.

As part of my campaign, I would like to conduct an “Informal Needs Assessment” through a confidential survey as one way to gather true input on our membership wishes and concerns to strategize on by clicking HERE. Paper surveys are available upon request.

If blessed to serve as your Secretary/Treasurer, I will work tirelessly for all my Leech Lake people, leading with respect for our traditions, fairness and equality, transparency in decision-making, and dedication to our future.
